A Message from the Mayor

Greetings. I am Lee Kun-Shik, the Mayor of Gimje City. A pleasant and warmful place to live, I welcome you all to the city of Gimje.

Gimje has been the heart of Korea's rice-farming culture for over 5000 years, and is the home of the golden fields, the vast horizon, and Byeokgolje. And as a city with such long history, Gimje has always put its greatest efforts in inheriting the rich traditions and noble spirits of our ancestors.

Our current goal of the 21st century, is to achieve economic prosperity, and hence, step up as one of the leaders of the Pan Yellow Sea Era.

As a promise to all fellow citizens and netizens, the city of Gimje will always be open towards the voice of the people, and will do its best in applying these opinions to its policies.

Let us go, hand in hand, and create a bright and everlasting future!
