The Creative Arts Studio, which was formerly the Byeokje Elementary School, is located within the Byeokgolje Museum Complex of Gimje City. The studio serves as a space for supporting the activities of local artists, and also offers a chance for residents to participate in traditional arts. The artists of the studio not only concentrate on their own work, but also on teaching visitors about traditional arts. Classes on traditional Korean paintings, calligraphy, pottery, woodwork, and natural dyes are currently being taught by professional artists from each respective area. Participants can make reservations for the work-study program through the online homepage.
